This Week at Calvin

Calvin CRC invites all looking for a place and family to publicly worship God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit!
Our Sunday morning worship begins at 10 AM. Pastor Matt Wentz will lead us all in worship. Miriam Hector will play the prelude “As the Deer” arranged by Marilyn Ham on the grand piano. The All For Him Band will accompany the singing of “He Is Exalted,” “Majesty”, “Shout to the Lord”, “God Is For Us,” “We Believe” and “Sanctuary”. Pastor Wentz’ message is based on Genesis 22 where Abraham’s faith is tested. He demonstrates to Isaac how he needs to rely on God at all times. Our service includes a time of confession, assurance of pardon and a time of prayer for our congregation, community and world. Following the worship service we have a time of fellowship over a cup of coffee, lemonade and cookies. Please come and join us.
Calvin Church has extended a call to Rev. Brian Hofman from Kanawha IA to be our next pastor. We will wait for his response to our call as we pray for him and our congregation.
Tithes and offerings may be dropped off at the church Mondays through Fridays from 10 to noon. Or mailed to 326 7th St SE, Le Mars, IA. If you have any prayer concerns, please contact the church at 546-4767 to be included on our prayer chain. Our prayer warriors would love to lift you and your concern up to our loving, compassionate Father who hears our prayers.
Our services can be livestreamed on Youtube, on our website starting Monday morning at calvincrclemars.org or on CDs available at church under the mailboxes. We urge all interested in hearing God’s Word to join us in person or livestream.
