This Week at Calvin

Calvin CRC invites all looking for a place and family to publicly worship God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit!
Our Sunday morning worship begins at 10 AM. Our friend from Orange City, Mr. Sherwyn Bolkema, will lead us all in worship. Miriam Hector will play the prelude “Eternal Father, Strong to Save” and “Faith of our Fathers” on the grand piano. The All For Him band will accompany the singing of “Lord As the Day Begins”, “Change My Heart O God” for the Call to Confession, “Is He Worthy?”, and “Ancient Words”. The singers this week will be Patrick Visscher, Steve Ver Mulm, Lyn Bulthuis, and Mary Fedders. The instrumentalists will be Miriam Hector on keys, Ron De Kok and Bob Hughes on acoustic guitars, Jim Viet on bass and Dave Hector on bongos. Mr. Bolkema’s message “Living by Faith” is based on Hebrews 11: 1-3, 13,24 – 28, I Corinthians 5:7, Hebrews 10: 38. The song of response is “If You But Trust in God to Guide You.” The closing song of “My Life is in You, Lord” will send us out into the week. Following the worship time we have a time of fellowship.
Rev. Brian Hofman from Kanawha IA has accepted Calvin’s call to be our next pastor. Praise God. Please pray for him and Calvin as all the details for housing and moving need to be worked out.
Tithes and offerings may be dropped off at the church Mondays through Fridays from 10 to noon. Or mailed to 326 7th St SE, Le Mars, IA.
Our services can be livestreamed on Youtube, on our website starting Monday morning at calvincrclemars.org or on CDs available at church under the mailboxes. We urge all interested in hearing God’s Word to join us in person or livestream.
