and worship.
Education classes for all ages begin at 9:00 AM .
Worship at 10:00 AM begins with a prelude on the grand piano by Miriam Hector. More Easter songs
will be sung. They are: “Christ is Risen! Shout Hosanna” and Christ is Alive! Let Christians Sing”. Pastor
Brian Hofman is preaching through the book of Philippians. This week’s text is Philippians 1: 12-30.
With this topic we have picked a new song “Christ Our Hope In Life and Death” as our theme song. This
great song is written by Keith Getty, Matt Boswell, Jordan Kauflin, Mathew Merker and Matt Papa.
The Women’s Ministry Committee would like to invite you to a Ladies Luncheon at the Friendship Tea
House in Le Mars on April 30 from 11 AM – 1 PM. Please sign up before April 22.

Calvin will lead worship services Wednesday, May 4th for Prime Living Assisted Living at 9:30, Accura
Nursing Home at 10.00. We are looking forward to singing, praying, and hearing God’s Word together.
Save the Date: June 27 – 30 for VBS! Our theme is Monumental: Celebrating God’s Greatness. We
invite all children from the community to join us.
The church is open every morning from 10 to noon. Anyone needing prayer may call the church (546-
4767) to be included in a prayer chain of prayer warriors from Calvin.
