This Week at Calvin

Calvin CRC invites all members and visitors to worship and study God's Word with them at 326 7th St SE, Le Mars, IA. Worship begins at 10 AM on Sundays.
This Sunday Miriam Hector will lead all into a spirit of worship with the prelude on "Ten Thousand Reasons." The All For HIm praise team will lead the singing of "Ten Thousand Reasons", "That's Why We Praise Him, " "Mighty To Save", and "Be the Centre."
Pastor Brian Hofman continues his series of sermons on Joseph from Genesis 43. The Prayer of Confession will be sung this week with "Lord I Need You." The Song of Preparation will be "My Soul Finds Rest."
Following the service this week we will be having a congregational meeting to select one new elder and one new deacon. If you are unable to attend, you may submit an approval ballot by stopping by the church between 10-12 on Monday through Friday and submitting a signed ballot with Janet in the church office.
There are two Women's Bible Study groups that one can attend this fall. The Afternoon Group will meet for the first time on September 7 at 1:30 PM. They will be studying from Paul Stevens 2 Corinthians: Finding Strength in Weakness. A study guide is available in the secretary's office.
The Wednesday Evening Group will continue their DVD series "Twelve Women of the Bible." Each lesson is independent, so you can start at any point. Their first meeting is September 14 at 6:30 PM. We would love to have you join us!
