This Week at Calvin

Welcome to Calvin Christian Reformed Church, 326 7th St SE, Le Mars, IA. Join our “Caring Church,
Reaching Community” for Education Classes for all ages starting this Sunday at 9:00 AM. These teachers
provide meaningful, stimulating educational opportunities to promote a growing relationship with
Christ. All classes meet in the basement with a chairlift if needed to accommodate.
At 10:00 AM all are welcomed to join worshipping together in the sanctuary with a prelude by Miriam
Hector on the grand piano. The All For Him praise team leads the singing of “I Will Exalt”, “You Are
Mine”, “Tell Your Children”, and “See A Victory.” There will be commissioning for all the Education
teachers and Bible Study leaders during the service. We thank them for their service.
Pastor Brian Hofman continues the sermon series on Genesis 45 where Joseph reveals his identity to his
brothers. The story just gets better and better. We see how God took “what the enemy meant for evil
and He turned it for good” from the “See A Victory” by Steven Furtick. The children enjoy coming to the
front to visit with Pastor about what the sermon is going to be about.
Don’t forget all the wonderful opportunities to study God’s Word during the week. This Wednesday is
Evening Bible Study at 6::30. Thursday morning breakfast at the Family Table.
