This Week at Calvin

Calvin Christian Reformed Church, 326 7th St SE, Le Mars, welcomes all visitors and members back to public worship this Sunday at 10 AM. It is wonderful to see all our friends and meet new friends each week. This Sunday Calvin welcomes Rev. Dan Wolters from Howard City, MI to the pulpit. Worship time begins with a prelude on “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) while all are preparing their hearts to focus on worshipping their one, true God. Songs of worship include “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee” with organ and trumpet. After the Call to Confession, we respond with “The Servant Song.” There is always a special time when we present our prayers to the God Who Hears. The All For Him band will lead the singing of “Here on Jesus Christ I Will Stand.” Pastor Wolters has chosen Acts 15: 1 – 35 for the text of his message “Risks of Grace.” We will respond with a well-known hymn “I Know Not Why God’s Wondrous Grace”. Following the blessing we will be singing “We Receive Your Blessing We Receive Your Grace.” Offerings can be placed in the wicker basket in the narthex, mailed to the church or dropped off during office hours Monday through Friday, 10 to noon.
There will be a meal in the Fellowship Hall at noon to meet and visit with Pastor Wolters. Meat and potatoes will be provided. Members are asked to provide a salad or dessert to share.
Sunday School classes for all ages is held at 9:00 AM. Wednesday Bible Study at 6:30 PM is held in the Fellowship Hall. Educational topics are being prepared and help us all draw to a closer relationship with God and each other. Please join us.
