and worship.
Education classes for all ages begin at 9:00 AM . Join us.
Worship at 10:00 AM begins with a prelude by Jill Bomgaars on her euphonium titled “Praise Him, Praise
Him”. More Easter songs will be sung with the All For Him Praise Team. They include: “Come, Now is
the Time to Worship”, “At the Name of Jesus Every Knee Will Bow”. Jill’s instrumental offertory is “I’ve
Just Seen Jesus.” Pastor Brian Hofman is preaching through the book of Philippians. This week’s text is
Philippians 2: 1-11. With this topic we have picked a new song “Christ Our Hope In Life and Death” as
our theme song. This great song is written by Keith Getty, Matt Boswell, Jordan Kauflin, Mathew Merker
and Matt Papa. We close our worship with the singing of “Meekness and Majesty”.
Save the Date: June 27 – 30 for VBS! Our theme is Monumental: Celebrating God’s Greatness. We
invite all children from the community to join us as attendees and helpers. Please start saving any
brown packing paper you be receiving in your deliveries as we will be needing a lot for decorations. The
more crumpled the better! There is a labeled box next to the blue Christian Needs Center barrel for any
packing paper you may have.
The church is open Monday through Friday from 10 to noon. Anyone needing prayer may call the
church (546-4767) to be included in a prayer chain of prayer warriors from Calvin.
