This Week at Calvin

Come join Calvin Church, 326 7 th St, Le Mars, as we continue to celebrate Christ’s Resurrection in study
and worship.
Education classes for all ages begin at 9:00 AM .
Worship at 10:00 AM begins with a prelude on the grand piano by Miriam Hector. The All for Him praise
team will lead the singing of more Easter songs. They are: “Come People of the Risen King”, “The Power
of the Cross”, “It’s About the Cross”, “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)”, and “Oh, How Good is
Christ the Lord”. Pastor Brian Hofman will begin preaching through the book of Philippians. This week’s
text is Philippians 1: 1 – 11.
The Women’s Ministry Committee would like to invite you to a Ladies Luncheon at the Friendship Tea
House in Le Mars on April 30 from 11 AA – 1 PM. There is a sign-up sheet on the back window ledge.
Guests are welcomed. Please sign up on or before April 22 nd .

Calvin will lead worship services Wednesday, April 26 for Park Place Estates at 9:30, Brentwood at 10.00
and Pride One at 10:30. We are looking forward to singing, praying, and hearing God’s Word together.
Save the Date: June 27 – 30 for VBS! Our theme is Monumental: Celebrating God’s Greatness.
The church is open every morning from 10 to noon. Anyone needing prayer may call the church (546-
4767) to be included in a prayer chain of prayer warriors from Calvin.
