This Week at Calvin

Calvin Christian Reformed Church (CCRC) is "A Caring Church, Reaching Community". Our mission is to "Praise God though creative ad joyful worship, sound Biblical preaching, an inspiring music ministry and continual prayer." Calvin is located at 326 7th St SE, Le Mars, IA. We invite all visitors and members to worship with us at 10:00 AM. This is a time that has been set aside for the public worship of God" Father, Son and Holy Spirit!
If you are visiting Calvin for the first time please make yourself at home. We've been praying for you, and hope you will experience the joy of God's life changing love. We ask that you socially distance yourself as you sit in the sanctuary. You may feel free to wear a mask, if you'd like.
We are glad to have Pastor Rev. Dr. Nevada DeLapp with us again this month. He is leading us this week with the text of 2 Samuel 7. The sermon is entitled "Housebuilder."
Mandy Viet has consented to play the prelude and lead us all into worship. She will also accompany the singing of "Find Us Faithful", "Guide Me O My Great Redeemer", and "I Will Exalt". We will sing "Lord, We Will Sing Your Word With Gladness" prior to the reading of The Word. The tithes and offerings may be left in the basket as your enter or leave the sanctuary. Or if it is more convenient, you may mail them to the church office at 326 7th St SE. Our church secretary is in the office Monday through Friday from 10 to noon. Gifts may be dropped off during this time frame. Items for the Christian Needs Center may also be donated to the blue barrel in the narthex. August needs are mac & cheese, Jello/pudding, fruit, pancake mix, syrup, granola bars, hamburger helper, shampoo, bar soap, and toilet paper. No gift is too big or small.

Thank you to all the volunteers who drove and delivered Meals on Wheels to our community. This is always a great time to help our neighbors. This leads us to serve and reach out to them for Christ. Helen De Stitger always does a great job coordinating this service. mailboxes for anyone who would like to have one.
Calvin's services can now be viewed online, Facebook, or on our website (www.calvincrclemars.org), or heard on CD. Extra CDs are available by the mailboxes for anyone who would like to have one. Please help yourself.
