This Week at Calvin

Calvin Christian Reformed Church, at 326 7th St SE, provides meaningful, stimulating educational and discipleship opportunities to promote a growing relationship with Christ. Each Sunday morning at 9:00 AM classes are held for all ages. The children gather with Sharon Zomermaand who takes each child under her wing to teach them about the love of Jesus through story, craft and snack. Tom DeKoster welcomes all the youth to his class studying The Greatest Journey put out by Samaritan's Purse. Dave Hector is asking his class to come at 8:45 to view an thought provoking video by Louie Giglio on Grace.
Worship begins at 10:00 AM on Sundays. This Sunday Rev. Todd Zuidema from Dordt University will lead us in worship. Worshipping God through song is a inspiring element. This Sunday we sing: "All Are Welcome", "Rejoice, O Pure in Heart", "When We Walk with the Lord (Trust and Obey)" and the Benediction song will be "We Receive Your Blessing". Miriam Hector will be accompanying the hymns on piano and organ. The prelude will be "Come, Now is the Time to Worship" and "Come, Let's Worship the King."
Calvin has plenty of room to accommodate social distancing and welcomes all those desiring to worship in person. Our services are also on Facebook, livestreaming and on CD. Please join us in worship of our awesome God.
This coming Wednesday is the Afternoon Bible Study at 1:30. Lyn Bulthus will lead lesson. Helen De Stigter is serving dessert and coffee. This is open to all.
