This Week at Calvin

Calvin Church at 326 7th St SE, Le Mars welcomes all to worship this Sunday at 10:00 AM. We will be celebrating Epiphany, the revelation of God's light to the recognition of our darkness to the hope that God's light will spread through all the world.
Miriam Hector will lead all into worship with a prelude on "Shine Jesus Shine" on the grand piano. Our guest pastor this week is Dr. Jason Lief, NWC professor from Orange City. The All For Him band and singers will lead the singing of "Holy, Holy, Holy", "Arise, Shine for Your Light is Come", "Be Thou My Vision", "Offering", and "Hope of the Nations".
Sunday School classes begin again for the New Year. Mr. Tom De Koster leads the youth, Mrs. Sharon Zomermaand, the children and Dave Hector, the adults. They gather at 9:00 AM in the basement for deeper digging into the scriptures. Coffee will be ready. Come and join this group.
The Search Committee is hard at work reaching out to pastors interested in coming to Calvin to be our fulltime pastor. Pray for the direction of this group that they can find just the one God has planned for Le Mars.
On the 13th, the Evening Bible Study group will meet at 6:30 at the church.
The Third Sunday will be Communion with Rev. Mark Vande Zande.
Wise Men still seek Jesus for the light. We pray that we will let that light shine to all around us.
